…and here’s the story of the Iraq veteran the protesters are seen trying to assist in this video: Vet Survived Iraq, Only to Be Wounded Defending Civil Liberties in Oakland. I don’t care where you stand on the OWS movement, this shit is plain wrong. I’ve yet to make it down to Zuccotti Park, and I’m not crazy about some of the tactics the protesters have used over the past sixteen days, but it’s beginning to feel important, and it isn’t going to end anytime soon. |
