Two relatively insignificant milestones went by without a mention. Individually, they would likely not merit typing, but together they seem to merit some sort of acknowledgment.
-Several weeks ago, this site got its 150,000th hit. At some point I recall writing that I wouldn’t mention this milestone, or that I would. I don’t remember. Either way, who gives a shit?
-Speaking of who gives a shit, my site is now in its fifth year of existence, having quietly celebrated its fourth anniversary on the first of October. Here is a screen shot of its birth:
…I’d offer to show you the afterbirth, but I’m afraid you’re looking at it right now.
Here is a photo of a giant, Croc(PINK)-wearing cigarette trying to frighten a young girl:
I’m told Crocs are very comfortable.
Happy Milestones, Jef! Four years of Anxious Doggishness is great. And that cigarette butt is scary. As is the giant BUTT on that cigarette butt!
Can I say, though, that I really miss your writing? I’m sure I’m not the only one. I stop by daily, pretty much – and when I see actual words I get all excited. You’re a very good writer, and I wish you’d share your thoughts more often.
For what it’s worth, I give a shit.
